Mayday Bakes started as a way to turn every celebration into something you'd want to photograph before you cut it.
What began as cakes for friends' birthdays turned into a standing request: something that tasted as good as it looked, made for the person and the moment. So that's what Mayday is — no cases of pre-made cakes, no two orders alike.
Everything is baked to order in small batches here in Los Angeles. The flowers are picked to match the season and your colors, and every cake is finished by hand the morning it's due.
