Ordering
How far in advance should I order?
2–3 weeks is ideal, especially for weekends and holidays. Have a closer date? Ask anyway — rush orders are sometimes possible depending on the week.
How do I place an order?
Start with the order form. Tell us your date, servings, flavors, and vibe, and we'll come back with a design idea and a quote — usually within about 48 hours.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit confirms your date once we've settled on the design. The balance is due at pickup.
What if I need to cancel or change my order?
Life happens — reach out as early as you can. Design tweaks are usually easy before we start baking; deposits cover ingredients and time reserved for your date, so late cancellations may not be refundable.
Cakes & flavors
What sizes and servings do you offer?
From intimate 6" cakes (about 6–10 slices) up to 8" (12–20) and tiered cakes for larger celebrations (20–40+). Not sure what you need? Tell us your headcount and we'll recommend a size.
What flavors can I choose?
The menu rotates with the season — past bakes have included dark chocolate rye with Earl Grey mascarpone, cardamom carrot with salted maple cream cheese, and buckwheat with yuzu curd & torched meringue. See a fuller list of past flavors on the cakes. Custom pairings are always welcome — tell us what you love and we'll build around it.
Do you make anything besides cakes?
Yes — tarts and pies are on the menu too. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll see what we can do for your event.
Can you do gluten-free or vegan?
Often, yes — ask about gluten-free and vegan options for your date and we'll let you know what's possible.
Flowers, pickup & delivery
What about the flowers?
Every bloom is food-safe and chosen to match your colors and the season. They're a garnish, though — please remove all flowers and greenery before eating.
Where do I pick up?
Pickup is in Los Angeles; we'll share the details when your order is confirmed. Local delivery is available for a fee — just ask.
How should I store my cake?
Different bakes like to be kept differently:
Buttercream cakes need to be kept cold until 1.5 hours before serving. Remove from refrigeration 1.5 hours before serving to allow it to soften.
Princess cakes need to be kept cold until serving.
Pies need to be kept cold until serving.
Cakes are best enjoyed the day they are picked up, but can easily be held overnight and presented the next day. Any leftovers will keep well, wrapped, in the fridge for 3 days.
